Twenty seven late models came to Farmer City Friday night, with Darren Friedman turning in fast time at 13.019 seconds. The newly crowned 2005 track champion Eric Smith raced Friedman off the front row with Friedman staying side by side the first five laps. Smith then took comlete command and went on to record another feature win over a fast closing Roger Long. Heats were won by Friedman over Steve Sheppard Jr, Jr Shickel and Frank Shickel Sr. The second heat went to Smith over Roger Long, Jimmy Felker Jr, and Tim Lance. The third heat went to Joe Harlan over Joe Ross Jr in a side by side battle over Chris Dick and Tim O'Donnell. The semi feature went to Corey Rolfe over Virgil Nussel.

The modified feature was another classic battle between the top two drivers in the UMP national points standings, this time Jeff Leka led all 20 laps with Denny Schwartz finishing a very close second place. Rounding out the top five were Scott Bull, Matt Goulden and Nick Neville. Heats went to Leka, Schwartz and McKay Wenger with Dennis Wilson winning the semi.

The powder puff race was run with both sportsman and street stocks in the same race. The overall winner was Pam Brownfield in the #93 street stock of Chris Dick. The sportsman winner was Tammy Dehm in Scottie Dehm's #D20 ride.
