Before we decide to possibly change our cars, has there been any tracks firm in signing with Fastrack, what about dates?

If your region is anything like our region the track will agree to run you if the drivers are committed. Once we got some drivers committed here in the Mid East Region the tracks were there. The schedule filled up quick after that.

It's the old which came first? the chicken or the egg? In our case the drivers had to be there before the tracks were.

We have 5 points races commited to and are negotiating with the other tracks. We have been well received as the tracks we have spoken with see that we are trying to improve racing. In order for our tracks to survive they have to have more fans in the seats, to get more fans in the seats we need more cars, more cars bring their family, friends, and coworkers. Tracks cannot afford the payouts that are required for teams to justify running 10 to 35 thousand dollar motors on a weekly basis. Weekly racing is a hobby not a profession. We have lost sight of that as is proven by the fact street stock drivers are putting 8 to 10 thousand dollars in their motors. Steel block late models and modifieds are putting 10 to 20 thousand dollars in their motors. We have to get local racing back to being a hobby that more people can afford to do. It is very simple.

1) Make racing affordable again ($3,000 motors, good looking cars)
2) More cars get into racing
3) More fans come to the track
4) The tracks Make Money and stay open
5) We have a place to race
6) Our sport grows
