The FASTRAK Racing Series makes it way back to the famous Eldora Speedway for the 2nd Annual "Chassis Challenge". Last years event was HUGE as fans from as far away as Iowa, Florida, New York and numerous other states were in attendance. This years event is expected to draw even more fans by keeping ticket prices extremely low for this event.

The Speedway now owned by NASCAR driver/team owner Tony Stewart, continues to make improvements at the speedway now having suites in turns three and four.

The most unique part of "the chassis challenge" pays the winning chassis manufacturer $1000 in addition to a beautiful trophy cup, which will be displayed in their shop until the event again in 2010. Last years winning chassis company, Warrior racing chassis of TN, owned by Sanford Goddard will present the cup to the new winning chassis company on the front straight after the main event. That is unless Warrior wins it once again.

"I think this is one of the greatest things I have seen in dirt racing for Chassis companies" said Goddard. "It gives all of the chassis companies something to race against each other for. The $1000 prize is a big deal but having that Cup in your shop all year for 'bragging rights' is even better. FASTRAK has very unique marketing and this event is certainly no different. I just appreicate the opportunity they have given us to have a little fun racing against each other. Warrior intends to bring that trophy back home again".

This years event will hold some difference from the previous year. On Friday night July 31st there will be a open practice allowing the chassis manufacturers to come in and help the race teams that night. There will be a get together for the teams later than night. Only improving the odds of the teams running thier particular chassis and also their chance of taking the CUP home for one year.

The next morning starting at 10:00 AM, participating chassis companies will hold chassis seminars at the speedway working with teams in not only making the teams better but increasing their chance to take home the coveted CUP and the $1000 first place prize.

Last years event was won by Missouri legend Ed Dixon was the first time he had ever won at Eldora. Dixon is a Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame member but as he said, winning that night was probably the best win of his career.

Cars will be displayed at both local area Walmart stores hosting a driver autograph session benefitting the Childrens Miracle Network on Saturday August 1st from 11:00 - 1:00. That event was huge last year as cars from all over the United States were present to 'meet and greet' fans.

Fans are suggested to buy their tickets early from the response of last years event. It was a HUGE crowd in 2008 and even more are expected this year.
