Alot of people have called and either did not know about the Fastrak Champions Series Midwest Region or did not know about the tire/membership deadline. The tire/membership deadline is explained as follows:
MEMBERSHIP FEE
2005 Membership fee has been reduced to $400. You will not be awarded points until your membership has been paid in full. If you pay your membership by March 26th, 2005 you will recieve your first set of four GoodYear Late Model tires for just $100, thereby actually making your cost of the membership only $20. All members will recieve a membership card as well as a GoodYear discount card in which you will recieve a 50% discount on ALL GoodYear truck, trailer and tractor tire purchases. You have until June 1st, 2005 to become a member & be eligible for the points fund.You do not have to pay the Membership fee to participate in a Fastrak event. Memberhip is for eligibility in the points fund.
ALL Fastrak Points Races will pay a minimum of $1200 to win and $100 to start
Fastrak Champions Series Midwest Region has a $10,000 points fund and a $50,000 Contingency Fund. The Contingency Fund will be paid on a race by race basis for the "Hard Charger" award and another for the "Tough Luck" award for each event.
We are pleased with the enormous amount of response we have recieved from everyone. We are looking forward to a GREAT season and can't wait to see everyone at the races. We will have the 2005 schedule completed and released in the very near future.
