(MARION, IL) The Fastrak Champions Series Late Models hit the dirt for the first time in 2006 as the Midwest Region Touring Series Championship travels to Lebanon Midway Speedway in Lebanon, MO on Saturday April 22. Midway hosted the title clinching race for 2005 Fastrak Midwest Champion “Gentleman” Joe Morris and Fastrak Midwest’s Scott Ferguson is excited about the return. “We really enjoyed going to Midway last season,” Ferguson says. “Harold Armstrong has built a great track, Ronnie Williams is a pleasure to work with and the crowds are fantastic; we always look forward to going to Midway and are excited about getting the second Midwest Region Touring Series Championship under way.”

The Fastrak Midwest Region Touring Series is a series of qualifying races leading to the Fastrak Nationals set for Oct. 11-14, 2006. Every Fastrak racer in competition at the Nationals will be entered into a drawing for a new GM Performance Parts 604 engine.
