The racing season at Fayette County Speedway has been put on hold until the first week of July due to the construction of the new grandstands. The project was originally planned to be completed around the second week of May but with the start of construction being delayed, the completion date of the new grandstands has been moved back to June 30, 2007.

Both the Fayette County Fairboard as well as the new Fayette County Speedway management felt is was best to postpone the season until the new grandstands are completed and the race track is in a presentable order for all the racers and fans to enjoy.

When race fans return to Fayette County Speedway this summer they will be treated to all new and improved Fayette County Speedway, with all new aluminum seating and covered grandstand area. Fayette County Speedway will host approximately eight to ten races through the first part of September. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see everyone when the new Fayette County Speedway is completed.
