Looking at the entry list for the ARCA race FOLLOWING the USAC Silver Crown Series event at LOR the night before, there is some dirt flavor in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menard's SCOTT Get Geared 200.

Ken Schrader will be busy pulling double double duty, racing a USAC Silver Crown car for the first time in over 25 years at LOR the night before. Schrader got his start in USAC on the dirt and has YEARS of dirt experience in Midgets, Sprints, Champ Cars, Dirt Late Models, Dirt Modifieds, and more. Schrader in ARCA has been stout, and expect him to be a contender to win the SCOTT Get Geared 200 in his 52 Federated Auto Parts Chevrolet

Shannon McIntosh adds some more dirt flavor, and gives the girls in the stands someone to cheer for. Shannon has experience in dirt open wheel cars as well as a brief stint in a Dirt Late Model. She will be gunning for her first ARCA win of her career in the number 72 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge.

2 time and defending Tony Bettenhausen 100 (and in the eyes of most LAST YEAR'S ARCA SuperChevyStores.com Allen Crowe Memorial 100 winner) at Springfield A.J. Fike is making a start in the Don Fike owned number 27 Liberty Village-McGladrey-Office Specialists Ford. Fike has also won in a UMP Modified this year as well, and has a long history racing midgets and Champ Cars on the dirt. Won't be surprised one bit if he pulls the double with the USAC Silver Crown Rich Vogler Classic J.D. Byrider 100.

Tom Hessert is no stranger to open wheel racing, the dirt, or ARCA. Tom had a strong showing at Springfield last year in the SuperChevyStores.com Allen Crowe 100. He has won in ARCA before and will be tough. Look for him in the 77 Caregard-AxiomWarranty.com Dodge owned by Cunningham Motorsports

Definitely some dirt flavor with A LOT of experience in this field, on top of ARCA regulars like Frank Kimmel, Justin Boston, Bobby Gerhart and more.

An EXTREMELY limited number of VIP tickets to meet Kyle Busch remain. Tickets are good for BOTH ARCA races, so not only will you get to see Kyle but ALL of the cars and stars of the ARCA Racing Series. Call 217-764-3200 or email your name, address, phone number and e-mail to track1985@gmail.com to make sure you still get a ticket. Don't forget to register to win as well!

Schrader is doing double duty piloting a USAC Silver Crown car the night before. Will be interesting to see how he does in that. ALWAYS tough in the ARCA car.

Schrader came home.10th. David Byrne picked up his first Silver Crown win last night. Can someone do that tonight against some NASCAR stars. Find out at Lucas Oil Raceway tonight.
