Lebanon,Mo.-The final touches have been put on the Special Sat Aug.28 Race Card at the Lebanon Midway Speedway.
The race card that evening will feature a 100 lap Enduro Race paying $2000 to the winner and entries will be taking starting on Monday Morning by calling at 417-533-3203 or 417-532-6254. Car numbers and starting spots will be given from how the entries are recieved. The entry fee is 50 for the Enduro Car and each car must provide a scorer.
"This is for the pure cars, and there are alot of them in the area.Joplin used to pack there Enduro shows and other tracks have enjoyed good turnouts for this things. It doesn't take any special things to get these cars ready. In fact several of our regular drivers are getting one ready for this deal." quoted track owner Harold Armstrong.
Also on the racing card for that evening will be special paying events for the Modifieds,FactoryStocks, and 305 Winged SprintCars. These classes have really turned up the level of competition on our regular Friday Night shows and I wanted to reward them. The Modified feature will pay 700 to win with 11-16 paying 100 17-20 75 to start.
The FactoryStocks will pay 450 to win with a good payoff down the line with 17-20 paying 40 to start while drivers finishing 12-16 will get 50 and some good money up the ladder, while we are going to pay the Sprints 350 to win while 17-20 will be 50 and the positions 11-16 recieving 75 and 10th place 100.This is a better payoff than our normal Friday night show.We also will be running our normal Friday night show with regular pay,but will have Ken Schraders Nextel Cup Showcar at the track for the fans to be able to view.Geting up close with an actual Car that was ran out of there shops.
