Found this new sprint car game out for ps2 its called sprint cars: road to knoxville its got sprint cars (of course) midgets and modifieds and some other things as well here is a trailer for the game : http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-731428383027304427


The only place you can get it is online havnt seen it in stores i think walmart.com is the cheapest saw it there for like 15 bucks and other places like 20
 
after saturday night speedway (i think thats what it was called) i prolly wont get this one.
 
the game does not look to good i think world of outlaw sprint car 2000 is the best one out there then sat night speedway

I agree! I play the slm late models alot as well..love that game. Just wish they could make modifieds and sprints that realistic.

This game is made by a different company.

I just got the game and it's not bad. Kind of like Saturday night Speedway in that the tracks are about the same. I-55 is not on there but another track with a weird name looks like it. For $15 you can't beat it. The Mods are fun.
 
i got the game this past week and i agree it is like Saturday Speedway. now that they have made 3 seperate games of dirt now they just need to take all the dirt games and combine them from Dirt To Daytona(but without the nascars/truckseries) all the way up to Sprint Cars: Road To Knoxville and make it the most realistic dirt game ever and make it where you can play online with the garphics just like the real deal of buying parts etc. for hornets all the way up to the UMP Super Late Models and i mean from tires all the way to buying semi haulers for your own race car as well as being able to customizing it the way you want it just like the real deal. that would be the baddest game i think. well it would make Nascar think how many people that aren't getting noticed as far as big sponsers and show that dirt racing is just as big as Nascar if not bigger with not near the big sponsers and with it going as far as it has since they all first started. :D
 
The bad thing about it is after you finish the first season and you want to buy another car, the game freezes up. Maybe it's because I've got an older ps2. Anybody else have this problem? Right now, I have one mod and can't buy a sprint or get the 3/4 midget back.
 
Had no problems freezing up after a seasons. I BEAT THE GAME IN THREE DAYS. I wish the graphics were cool like the nascar games

It looks like THQ bought the rights to the ratbag games because many of the screenshots look the exact same or similar. the midgets and mods are fun if you never played any of the games before but i bought a midget first off and won the first 5 races no problem. However the sprint cars are a little trickier to hold on to and more racey it seems like. You have to let off the gas more often than in the past games.
 
also when it gives you tips while it is loading they are the same tips from saturday day night speedway, because it say something about closed wheel vehicles handling different than the open wheel. This game only has open wheel, so i think they just used a lot of stuff from previous games.

I agree with Dustybritches make one game with all the classes on it, but make the cars lift the left front!!!
