I personally would like to sincerly thank each and every one of the karters and families that came out to give Flickerwood a try on Saturday January 17th. I really appreciate your kindness that most all of you showed. It was a pleasure to meet you all. I wish I had had more time to talk to all of you more.
We had 60 entries and it was a very long night for us all and I would like to appologize for the delay in getting the races started and ended. We are very aware that the back up at the gate and also with registration was taking too long and we will absolutley make the changes needed to improve our next race on the 31st.
Changes that will take place will be having two persons at the gate and also opening up a second window for registration. One for Atv's & Mc's and one for karters only.
Also payouts will be made shortly after the karters last race instead of having to wait till the ATV's are done.
Also I will be equiped with a headset for better communication with the promoter and track flagman.
The track itself was in super racing condition but the concerns of the white disc on the inside track were noted to be a problem and will also be resolved before our next race.
We will also have a corner man that is used to flaging karts our next race.
Also I would really like to hear from the racers on payouts....on the website I have had posted that our payouts end at third place with 80% payback. www.semoraceway.com/fwpayouts.html
If you the karters would rather have payouts to 5th place I really need to hear from you because we can definately do that if that is what everyone wants.
