What a long, cold (did I mention long) day. Good crowd to start the season off despite the cold temps... This is my view of things.

Best race of the night was the Modified feature... Brent Thompson won it, but only after he worked his way past Leo Kiefer and John Bohn... Great first night out for John.. But Brent, John and Leo put on a great show for the cold fans for all 20 laps of the feature. Bohn won the trophy dash and first heat race and Kiefer won the second heat.

Doug Savage held off Randy Forster to win the Sportsman feature. Randy's car caught on fire during the heat race, but he put it all together and was the fastest car on the track in the feature, but he couldn't get around Doug... Doug won the trophy dash, but Nathan Gibson started the year out by winning the first heat race.

I hate to say it, but Dave "Wolf" Wofford was the cream of the crop last night for the RAMS Mini Stocks as he triple crowned. He was fast and smooth (and did I mention fast). Rick Ruch was second and Wes Kintz (despite his long hair and bad grades -- just kidding Wes) was a solid third. Bill "Wheelman" Nickelson was the second heat race.

There were a dozen Dwarf cars on hand and Charlie Savage won the feature. Todd Williams and Bobby Black chased and chased and chased Charile but they couldn't catch him. Williams won the trophy dash and first heat race with Zaricor winning the second heat.

Congrats to Chris Webb!! He won his first ever feature in the Pure Street feature race. Lenny Terrell was second and Brian Montgomery was third. Lenny won the heat race and the trophy dash....

The track got a bit rough at the end, but all in all it was a pretty good night of racing. I hope everyone enjoyed the glow sticks and the new programs will put out.
