FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Following last week's rain-out of 'Raceday 2004,' the Fredericktown Raceway will officially open it's 2004 racing season this Friday night (April 2nd) with all five classes participating. This season the Sportsmen, Modifieds, RAMS Mini Stocks, Pure Streets and Dwarf cars will all be regular weekly participants.
Numerous improvements have been made to the track and the facility to prepare for the season including better payouts for all classes. As a special bonus the first 500 race fans to the grandstands will receive a free "Glow Stick."
Also this season, in case the Friday night event is rained out, a make-up race will be held the following Sunday evening (gates would open at 3 p.m. with racing at 5 p.m.) with double-points given to all classes.
There is also a new track phone number this season, it is (573) 783-8886.
