FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. --- Preparation continues for the re-opening of the Fredericktown Raceway as the season-opener is now just a few weeks away.
Any driver who is going to race either their CARS Late Model, IMCA style Modified, "B" Modified, Pure Street, Mini Stock or Dwarf/Modlite car at the Fredericktown Raceway during the 2007 season is asked to preregister their car number by simply phoning (573) 747-0566.
"We've already completed a ton of work in revamping the old raceway, but there's still another ton of things to do before the season-opener on March 30th," said raceway public relations director Jeff Mills.
There will be a car show at the Fredericktown Raceway from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 17th before a "Play Day" will be held on Friday, March 23rd beginning at 5 p.m. For more information visit the track's website at www.fredrock.info or phone (573) 783-0207 or (573) 747-0566.
