Friday, August 7th: The TTG Budweiser 100 Presented by Big R of Swansea, IL

Belleville, IL – Belle-Clair Speedway is proud to announce that the TTG Budweiser 100 Presented by Big R of Swansea, Illinois is scheduled for Friday, August 7th. This event will honor Mike Meurer, also known as “TTG” with a $2000 to WIN Kettler & Son’s UMP Late Models 100 lap feature, with the possibility of $3500 to WIN total due to lap sponsors. Belle-Clair Speedway would like to thank Joe Krump at Grey Eagle Distributing, Levi Jones at Big R in Swansea, Illinois and the individual lap sponsors for their support of this event. All other classes will be racing standard laps for standard purse.

Mike Meurer, “The Talking Guy,” known by many as TTG, was the pivotal voice at both Belle-Clair Speedway and the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Passing away unexpectedly in early 2012, Mike left an unfillable hole in the hearts of many. Countless racers and fans in the Saint Louis area grew up listening to Mike announce his voice unforgettable and remembered by locals and out of towners. Belle-Clair Speedway is asking fans to wear purple on Friday night in honor of Mike, as purple was Mike’s favorite color shirt to wear on race night.
