I really don't know the best way to put last night into words other than WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW. You guys and gals put on one of the BEST shows I have seen in a long time. Congrats to Carrie on her first feature win. (Stolzer's Traction control worked great for you) The racing and car count was excellent, you all desereve a pat on the back. Lots of fans had great commits for ALL of you. Sure wish we could talk Bob into another show this season. THANK YOU for an excellent show !!!!!!!!!!

DRR thoughts....
First off, Congrats to Carrie! Awesome job, cheater!
Between Kyle's TC and Herman's sticky tires you got your first feature...LOL. Coincidentally, your first was also a first for GVRA. The first time we've been able to split into an "A class" and "B Class". Equally as awesome, I think...as it shows which way our group is headed.
Second, I would like to congratulate Dean Adams Jr. on his Feature win. You and Dave put on an awesome show for us all. Knowing what I do about wheeling a car told me that Dave was up on the wheel in the ol' T-5. You were manhandling the ol wagon... Excellent race Dave!
On a personal note, it felt nice to grab another heat win! But, where's my stickers? I have 3 heat wins and only 1 sticker, what gives?
Kenny, my schedule (as well as the GVRA's) is open for the Sept. 11 show. If Bobby would like for us to come back then, I can contact everyone and get the word out now... Speaking for the group(if I may) I think it would be well accepted and we should be able to bring in a good field of cars once again...
To echo Harris69's "WWWWOOOOWWWW"...I want to once again express how awesome it is to be a part of the GVRA. My paycheck is at the office at DRR, because I forgot to go get it... To have so much fun that you forget you get a payout is undeservedly great. GVRA is more than a bunch of drivers racing a bunch of old cars. It is almost indescribable. I get to hang out/race with a family of friends that is comprised of some of the nicest people I've ever met. Some started out to me as strangers, some were past heroes, some were modern heroes. Now I am elated because I've been able to get to know each and every one in our group, and feel comfortable being around any or all of them. Even Da Bubba, lol....
It is true that you can't please all the people, all of the time...and there will be times when there is tension in any group. However, I think that our group is doing a fantastic job of keeping everyone enjoying the experience. I feel that we have a good enough mix of age, attitude, talent, and emotion within our club to keep everyone headed in the same direction. Looking at the interest our club is generating and the number of cars we've been pulling through the back gate, it is easy to see that we are going to have continued success in the future.
Hope to see you all at Malden. Lot's of OT at work may have me there sat morning. I'll have to see how tired I am when Friday rolls around...Dad's gonna drive the hauler, maybe I'll sleep on the road, lol.

Thanks guys it was a great night of racing and i couldn't be racing with a better bunch of people. I really have enjoyed myself and i am learing alot from everyone.
I am a very lucky girl to be able to do what i am doing in this racing community.
As far as the cheating thing goes,(lol) if you aint first, your last, randy!!lol (just kidding) i had a blast out there with you at highland battling for second and i had a blast at drr racing against you. Congrats too you on your heat race win!

Drr has to be one of the best tracks that we go to through the year, everyone is pleasant and helpful and it's just a good time.
