(SIMSBORO, LOUISIANA) Garrett Racing and young driver Garrett Durrett
picked up their first win of the 2004 campaign last Saturday night at the
Fast Trax Speedway in Chatham, LA in a brand new MasterSbilt chassis.
Garrett timed in third fastest of the 32 cars in attendance and then won his
heat to earn a third place starting spot for the $1,200 to win feature
event. The Garrett Racing #58cent MasterSbilt / Pro Power Ford Taurus took
the lead five laps into the main event and held on through the rough track
conditions for the victory.

"The new MasterSbilt ran great, I have to thank Keith and Tader Masters and
all the guys up there for all of their help," said Garrett. We got in the
lead early and then just cruised through the rough spots and stayed out
front. It was a good win for us and we got to run the new car before the
$15,000 to win show this coming weekend at Chatham."

Garrett will roll off sixth for the $15,000 to win 'Southern 100' at the
Fast Trax Speedway in Chatham, LA this Saturday night. Qualifying and heat
races were run back on April 23, before the rain set in and postponed the
rest of the weekend. Garrett qualified second for the event and ran third
in his heat race to earn his outside third row starting position.
