Lebanon,Mo.-Veteran Gary Webb showed everyone why he is still one of the best in the Midwest as the Blue Grass,Iowa veteran used a Friday Night trip to Missouri payoff as rain in the Iowa area saw him tow down to the High-banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway and collect his second carrer victory in leading all 25 laps and collecting the 1000 first place prize money.

After qualifying heats, the pill draw put Webb on the front row with Richard Foster to his outside. As the field took the green,Foster went upstairs as Webb shot to the bottom as the opening 5 laps it was anybodies guess. As the race took a long green outlook,Webb got in his groove going and started putting distance between himself and Foster. As Webb pulled away from the field, the battle for second became hot and heavy as Foster had moved downstairs and battled Dave Ware repeatedly for position while point leader Brandon Maggard,a fast moving Steve Oerly, and LeRoy Johnson were battling for 4th place. On lap 21,with Foster locked solid into second,Ware tried to make an outside pass and made contact with Foster sending him spinning into the infield. On the restart,Steve Oerly was charging up to challange for second, but got caught up in lapped traffic on the high-side sending him back a couple of posistions. As the checkered flew,Webb became the 5th different feature winner this season as he was followed by Ware,Brandon Maggard,Oerly, and LeRoy Johnson.

"I looked at the weather map,and going back home would have meant probably not racing Sat Night,so I was about 100 miles from Lebanon and decided to go ahead and run down there. The track was in great shape and my car was working the low and middle grooves great.Richard really gave me a good run early and we had plenty of racing room there ."

In the Modified feature, point leader Eric Hudson shot from his 10th starting spot to take command on lap 1 with Jamie Ragland,Kieth Branson,Ediie Horn and Erik Maggard all battling behind. With Hudson looking for his first win,Maggard began his charge to the front and moved into second on lap8.Hudson and Maggard kept battling for position while Branson and Ragland were jockeying for third place. The yellow waved on lap 10 for Chris Johnson's Spin and on the restart Maggard made the pass to the inside taking over the lead. The yellow waved again on lap 13 for debris and on the restart Hudson made a strong move to the inside of leader Maggard and looped it in turn 4.As the field bunched up for the green,Maggard pulled away in the last couple of laps to gather his second victory of the season followed by Keith Branson,Ragland,Doug Crider, and early leader Hudson.

The FactoryStocks saw there 5th different winner this season as it took a couple of restarts but once the green flew,Tim Riffle took the opening lead with with the pack jockeying for positions behind. On lap 3,Bomber point leader KC Prettyman making his first FactoryStock start in Ed Schutt's car grabbed the lead going into turn 1.On the restarts Prettyman was pulling away from the field as 16th starting Hobie Johnson was working up into the field and grabbed second on lap 10.With Prettyman out in front,Johnson was coming quickly as point leader Micheal Maggard moved into third. On lap 13,leader Prettyman's Camaro showed alittle smoke and he pulled in giving the lead to Johnson. As the checkered flew,it was Johnson taking his first win folowed by Maggard,Jason Reckker,16 year old Matt Miller who started deep in the field, and Ward Frederick Jr.

L:arry Prewitt made a late race charge and overtook leader Josh Woody on lap 10 to capture his 5th consectutive SuperStock feature win.Woody coming off his best finish off the season lead the opening laps until Prewitt used the high-side pass held on for second followed by defending champion Mike Joplin,Dave Bozich and Tim Petty.

Veteran Jon Mulienburg came from 12 in the field and overtook leader Justin Foust on lap 10 to record his first win of the season at the Speedway.Mulienburg who drives a station-wagon in the Bomber division used the inside groove after a very heavy battle with point leader KC Prettyman. An opening lap crash took out points runner-up Derrick Peterson and leader Brandon Knutdson along with Mike Teeters.Following Miulienburg to the line were Foust,Prettyman, early leader Rodney Jones, and Chad Cromer.
Next weekend regular racing action continues as the Winged Sprint Cars will be back into action with the gates opening at 5,Hotlaps at 7 and racing at 7:30 sharp
