(2005 Partnership Received Bill Veeck Sports Sponsorship Award!)
Madison, IL - Gateway International Raceway announced today that they have extended
their award-winning sponsorship with Shop 'n Save through the 2006 race season. Shop
'n Save returns as the presenting sponsor of the NASCAR Busch Series 250 and the title
sponsor of the ARCA RE/MAX 150 on July 28-29. The working titles are NASCAR
Busch 250 presented by Shop 'n Save and the Shop 'n Save 150.

In 2005, Gateway partnered with the grocer on the historic "Wallace Family Tribute 250,
presented by Shop 'n Save". It brought back Rusty, Mike and Kenny Wallace for the
first and only time to their hometown to race in a major NASCAR event. Gateway and
Shop 'n Save also worked with the Missouri and Illinois Special Olympics on many
charitable efforts surrounding the event, including the donation of the official pace
vehicle - a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck - to this worthy cause.

The event and the strategic partnership between Gateway, Shop 'n Save, Dodge and the
Special Olympics was recognized as the winner of the 2005 Bill Veeck Sports
Sponsorship Award in the "cause-related" category. This award has a special focus
on a social or community cause as the primary purpose of the event or competition.
Excellence in the category is evident through the sponsor's active engagement in
assisting the cause/charity meet its objective.

The Bill Veeck Sports Sponsorship Awards are sponsored by the John Cook School of
Business at St. Louis University. They were established in 2004 in honor of one of the
greatest innovators and owners in the history of sports. Hall of Famer Bill Veeck spent
over 40 years working in baseball and on three different occasions as an owner. He
became famous for his crowd-increasing gimmicks such as the 'exploding scoreboard'
and assorted giveaways. Veeck always looked out for the fans.

"We have worked very hard to make the NASCAR Busch Series event at Gateway one of
the most significant stops on the annual schedule and we are very grateful to Shop 'n
Save and Dodge for helping us do that," said Matt Strelo, Vice President and General

alongside of past winners of the Veeck Award such as the VISA sponsorship of the
Winter Olympics is a thrilling tribute to all involved."

"It is a wonderful honor," said Marlene Gebhard, President of Shop 'n Save. "It is even
more gratifying to be able to help Special Olympics achieve the recognition they
deserve."

This year's 2006 race once again falls on an unencumbered NEXTEL Cup weekend date,
which gives Gateway and Shop 'n Save another chance to be the showcase NASCAR

Tribute 250 presented by Shop 'n Save". Some of the stars expected to participate
(subject to change) include, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Michael Waltrip,
