(5th and 6th Place Finishes In Pro and Youth Standings)

Indianapolis, IN - Gateway International Raceway's racers made a big
impact last weekend at the 2004 NHRA North Central Division Finals at
Indianapolis Raceway Park in Clermont, IN.

The final team's standings show the Pros with a 6th place finish and the Youth
finishing 5th. This years finish was better than the team 10th place finish last
year. Gateway was one of 19 teams competing in the Division III level event.

In the Sportsman class Ron Beach Sr. (Sparta, IL) and his 69' GTO finished in
the runner up spot. He also won the Dialing For Dollars Sportsman category
with a reaction time of .002. Gateway Jr. Dragster Jacob Blumenstein
(Breese, IL) won the 8-9 class. The Blumenstein name is a successful and
familiar one in the Jr. Dragster class at Gateway with Tolissa finishing as the
runner-up at the track in 2003.

Other notable winners were Super Pro driver Doug Graf (Troy, MO) in the VP
Racing Fuels of Champions, and Ron Beach Jr. (Troy, IL) in the Summit
Shootout Sportsman class. Gateway congratulates all of our racers for their
fine efforts.
