going back a lil

Denny Kneble owns a bodyshop in Highland. I'm gonna call him "semi retired".
He still goes to Highland to watch quite a bit.

How about don odum.bill Hughes Jim hylsky and Denny kneble.also I used to see butch argus in the stands at Belleville.have not seen him in a while.always wondered why he gave it up.

Don Odum is the President of AARA. Bill Hughes died 10+ years back. Butch Argus was in the pit area at Belleville the other night.

Donn Evans,Jim Fleege(sp?),Greg Klein,John Copple,Mark Gansmann,Todd Rehg,Burnell Mollet(Engine Builder),Leon "Redbone" Rakers,Alvin Noll......

Mark Gansmann is a Farmer south of St Jacob. Don Evans owns the Car Quest in Lebanon and lives between Trenton and Aviston (I've killed a couple of nice deer by his house). Leon Rakers lives north of Aviston, and still shows up at Highland from Time to time. I see him quite a bit. He still has several cars and motors but chooses not to race em. You just gotta know Leon LOL

Wild wess was a number 11 Ford I believe... Ain't heard from wess in years. Him,Rick Rhoads,Dave jones and George price put on some of the best racing I've ever seen !!!!

I really miss the races at White City,IL...Had a lot of fun and pocketed a fair amount cash from the place.. I loved the old Bar/Clubhouse!!! Memories, they are all we have left....;)

Loved white city... Grandpa Buck always took us and we always wondered if any cars were gonna end up in the trees lol. Love watching Mike hammerly race there.

Chip Thomas lives in the Chicago area and is married and has a couple of kids. Does not race anymore. He raced for his Dad when he raced.

Terry Messinger, He won the mile race this year and is still chugging along doing good. He is a great person in and out of the car.I believe he is from Robinson,IL
