"We haven't raced a whole lot at I-30 Speedway this year," he said. "Things have changed a little bit on the racing surface. It will give us a good tune-up for Short Track Nationals. Hopefully it will make us some money and give us extra confidence, too."

Hagar placed fourth during his lone start at I-30 Speedway this year. He is riding a streak of 16 consecutive top-five finishes during 360ci winged sprint car competition entering the ASCS Mid-South Region and ASCS Red River Region co-sanctioned show this weekend.

"We ran second in the race last year and won it the year before," he said. "It'd be a big deal to win again. Not only for being the Ralph Henson Memorial, but just to get a win in general. We haven't raced much this year. I think it'd be a good confidence boost for the Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial next weekend and leading into the Short Track Nationals in a month as well."

Hagar enters this weekend with 10 podium finishes in his last 11 races.
