Halfbreed claims top honors in new class at Big River Sand Drags

BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (April 19, 2003) Jason Waller of Bonne Terre drove his truck "Halfbreed" to first place and top eliminator honors Saturday night at Big River Sand Drags in the new Competition Eliminator class. Todd Dee of Leadwood finished in second place.

In Vehicle ET, Philip Beaird of St. Louis finished in first place with Jim Glatczak of Potosi second, but it was Glatczak winning the top eliminator race.

In Super Pro ATV, Dale Bates Jr. of Festus was the top eliminator and first place winner while Jimmy Burns of Bonne Terre settled for second place.

In Pro ATV, Jimmy Farris of Potosi was the first place winner while Andrew Burcham of Desloge captured both second place and top eliminator honors.

In ATV-1, Allie Glatczak of Potosi was top eliminator and first place winner while Nathan Yates of Blackwell finished in second place.
A "Fast 8" competition for the fastest eight ATVs of the night saw Doug Brown of Bloomsdale defeat Jeremy Coleman of Hillsboro in the championship match.
