Heck of a race, Shirley

I'm just drawn that way..
I'd like to congratulate the 3S of Brian Shirley for running a heck of a race at Godfrey Saturday night. Without the unfortunate incident from McQuerry, I'm sure you would have taken the checkered flag. I'd also like to say I'm rather proud of the way he handled it, he pulled into the pits, looked over his car and just (I'm assuming) took it as a racing deal. Great control shown there. I can say that if it were me, my temper probably would have been gotten the best of me.

That must have taken some self control! Especially since I've seen very few incidents involving McQuerry that were just "racing deals!"
 
Yes - lol!!! Well, I was trying to be nice and was focusing on how well Shirley did - both on the track and in the pits.
 
I would also like to CONGRATULATE Brian Shirley on a HELL of a race. In my eyes he is still the winner!!! And QWaynick all I have to say is NO COMMENT!!! WAY TO GO SHIRLEY!!!!!!!

My hat is off to Shirley,nice job..... The question is what if Dixon was winning the race and the same thing would have happen to him,would you all be saying the same thing, that so sorry and in my mind, your the winner??? JUST WANTED TO KNOW.... sorry Shirley and gltu this year.......
 
Uh oh!!! Sorry I missed ya, Mike - where were you? I sat up in turn one and was down in the pits. Had I known you were there, we'd have come found you and bothered you for a while!!
