Since Crown Point is rained out for tonight, and there gonna run the race next year, how are they gonna figure the points for UMP? Even if we didnt start the feature we should get our 10 points for being there, and 3 points for being second in the consi. So is UMP gonna figure it up that way so the UMP points are final?? Them 13 points should make the difference for us from 15th to 13th. Just wondering....

If you read the Ump points sheet for Oct 11, it said at the bottom that Final UMP points for 2004 would not be totalled until after the race at Crown Point. This was a make up feature for the race that was rained out at Kankakee. Only those drivers who qualified for the feature at Kankakee would get UMP points for the Crown Point Feature. Crown Point would be the last UMP points for 2004.

We talked to UMP yesterday. They are just waiting for the final list from Kankakee. They hope to have the final newsletter posted by the weekend.
