Highland pay cut?

Qualifying at local tracks at weekly shows is a bad ideas. The hotshots like it of course and at tracks like Highland probably have too much influence on promoters.

They need to go back to the days of inverts and tell the drivers it's in everyones best intrest we do this. Once a month they could have races with straight up Qualifyning and line up the features by heat winners with the fasted Q time.

I don't think they cheat for Zobrist but I do think he and his family help keep the place going there great supporters of highland from what I can tell when I come

I'm not saying they cheat for Zobrist or not but, any tracks that does this will not survive people will get real sick of the crap and leave

Totally agree. I know at least a couple that have quit, and I'm getting real close to it. Budget racers with less powerful cars really suffer and have no chance unless starting farther up in their heat with a draw. If a good racer is all that good they can pass slower ones in a heatrace. Spending a ton of money to be able to qualify in time trials doesn't make them faster in a heat and there are plenty I regularly pass when it slicks off in the main.
Time trials in my opinion are only good when there is a touring special.
