Highland results? 30 April 05

Anyone at Highland last night, (30 Apr 05), see the sad excuse for officiating that I seen? It is getting really sad when I hear a official say to fans, wasnt the call I made, Charlie made the call again. 2 really really bad calls that I seen, Thornton in the mod consi, and Voigt in the LM feature, McDougal getting ran over a few times (no calls made there!!, racers getting totally screwed, what does it take to get some consistency out there??????? Does he run Brownstown the same way??

Yes, I know very well there are tracks and promoters that are alot worse, there are also some alot better. I have said this a few times in here, why dont the corner safery workers and the flagman make the decisions, and the promoter stay out of it, and do what a promoter is supppose to be doing, promote the track!

cant wait to be back there in Highland to stay and live :) in the mean time, i get to travel some more, and see a few more tracks.
 
seems everytime i go back to Highland, I here that more and more, drivers getting screwed and the calls are being made by one person. silly question, if there are officials in place, why arent they making the calls? and why isnt the promoter letting them do just that, promoter needs (in my opinion) to promote the track, converse with the drivers and the fans, what do they want and need, needs and wants to promote better racing, more cars, and more fans.
yes, I will continue going to Highland no matter what, and yes I have seen alot worse, and have seen what happened to those tracks, promoters do come and go. I seen it get really really bad in Highland many years ago, where only 10 late models (Modifieds back then) and around 10 Sportsman showed up, those being loyal to highland. Well fans, racing has grown leaps, hope that doesnt happen again.
hmmmm, promoting the track i grew up around, after seeing most of the US, and many tracks and types of racing, what a concept that would be *S*
