August 7, 2006 (Knoxville, IA) It has been a tough month for Neon Dion Hindi and Team RealTruck.com but it is now the time for the biggest race of the season and there is reason for optimism. Hinid who has seen improvement in many area’s, especially qualifying. Hindi has set two fast times and has been seeing vast improvement in his team and finishes. Hinidi likes the big ½ mile and will have a brand new J&J Chassis with a fresh powerplant under the hood. In his one appearance at the ½ mile this season he qualified 16th and missed the “A” by one spot on a hurt motor. In previoous starts at the Nationals his best finish is a 9th in the “B” main. On his qualifying night he finished 12th in the “A” main but poor qualifying hurt his points.
Unfortunatley through the process of improvement there have been some set backs. Some hard crashes has had the team rebuilding race cars in a tight time frame. Through it all Hindi has kept his fan friendly demeanor and held his head up. It’s a long season and Hindi is really looking forward to the last leg. RealTruck.com will have a booth at the Knoxville Nationals with Dion and the car making an appearance on Wednesday from 2 – 4 pm.
