Hornet World Championships sends 2014 Macon Speedway season out with a BANG
MACON, Ill. – The biggest Hornet program of the year to the speedway’s season finale on Sept. 27. will be a show you WON'T want to miss. Hornets will have A LOT to race for, and get a well deserved chance to headline a GREAT evening of racing to wrap up the 2014 Macon Speedway racing season.
The Outlaw Hornets will race in a whopping $300 to win feature plus the chance to take home the Outlaws championship trophy – a definite keepsake for any racer. This is the same style of trophy the guys get when winning on the state fair miles. The Stock Hornets will also run for the Championship trophy as the class gets some of the spotlight at the famed fifth-mile high banked dirt oval on the final night of another spectacular season.
Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, UMP Sportsman and the Speedway Motors Illinois Lightning Sprint Series will also race on Sept. 27 to put the finishing touches on those points battles.
