I-44 Speedway Presents Armed Forces Day on May 21

LEBANON - Lebanon I-44 Speedway and Thieme-Shadel-Hicks funeral service are proud to celebrate Armed Forces Day during the Saturday evening races on May 21.

In honor of all American soldiers and military personnel, I-44 Speedway and Thieme-Shadel-Hicks will host a recognition night at the speedway.

All active military and immediate family members will receive free grandstand admission to Saturday's Armed Forces Night racing event. Retired military and immediate family will receive a half-price discount.

A presentation will be made in recognition of America's troops shortly before the invocation and National Anthem. Military personnel from Fort Leonard Wood will be on hand to accept a plaque presented by Thieme-Shadel-Hicks funeral service representing the Lebanon community.

Gates open to the public at 5 p.m.; racing begins at 7:30 p.m.
