I-55 Raceway presents Fan Appreciation Night, Ken Schrader, Mid-Season & Nickel Race

Pevely, MO (July 25, 2005) I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO presents Fan Appreciation Night this Saturday, July 30th. All fans will be admitted into the grandstands for only $5 and kids 12 and under will be FREE. It will also be Mid-Season Championships for all four divisions. The UMP Late Models and UMP Modifieds will run their standard format that they run each week. The AARA Sportsman and AARA Pro 4 Stocks will have the top eighteen cars in points that are present, locked into the main event. All others will have to race their way into the final six starting spots.

Ken Schrader will also be on hand in his Federated Auto Parts dirt late model to compete on the 1/3 mile high banked oval.

One of the largest nickel races in the country will be held at intermission for the kids. The Impressive Race Cars Nickel Race includes thousands of nickels spread onto the track and kids race to pick up as many nickels as they can. There will also be hundreds of prizes given out to those with specially marked nickels.

Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and the racing action is set to kick off at 7:00 p.m.
