This morning I got a phone call from Jerry Myers at Benton (ATPR) and he wanted me to relay to everyone that his track is still open and under the existing management. He also said there are no plans to make any changes through the end of the season.

Mills,it says on midsouthracing that the NCRA cancelled their show at Benton. They said lack on communication was the reason why, maybe it's your fault, they was probably trying to call the promotor when he was telling you that everythings fine,LOL.

Maybe so,but I'm betting the attorney's for Extreme has a hotline for Mr. Meyers, and he probably isn't talking to them at this point,I would be afraid if any big time series tries to run there again.

The bad part about the whole thing is the facility is top notch. The track usually ****s, but I think it's because of the type of dirt that's there and not the effort. Jerry said he was going to be at Fredericktown Friday night to talk with some of the drivers.

Benton Might Want To Concentrate More On Getting A Successful Weekly Show Going Instead Of These Big Ones They Had Planned.

They Also Need To Stop Running Off Drivers With What They Say On The Phone. I Know 1 Modified And 4 Sportsman That Shyed Away From There Because Of What They Were Told When They Call. Jmo!
