IMCA World Products Empire State Series opens April 13 at Clinton County

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (April 10) – IMCA Modifieds chase a top prize of $1,000 when Clinton County Raceway hosts opening night for the World Products Empire State Series this Friday, April 13.
The Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier pays a minimum of $100 to start. Non-qualifier pay is $40.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, Eastern Region and Allstar Performance State, as well as special series points, will be awarded.
Pit gates and the grandstand both open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $10. Pit passes are $25.
Rounding out the program on the 1/3-mile clay oval are 305 sprint cars, 270 micro sprints, pro stocks and 4-cylinders.

Eddie Sites of Monroeton is the defending series champion. Nine dates are on the 2012 tour schedule, the next on Sunday, April 22 at Five Mile Point in Kirkwood, N.Y.
The IMCA track point season starts April 20 at Clinton County.
