It's official: MCS is UMP this year

Talked with Mel this morning and the UMP contract has been signed (with some modifications), so once again Montgomery County Speedway is a UMP track this season.

Also, Mel is busy putting up additional guard rail around the track. It's three rails high now.
 
Sounds great. Can't wait to get the season started. Should be some great racing on the high banks of MCS this summer.
 
3rd rail will help, might need to go even higher, or lower the Track so maybe it's harder to climb. Smacking that Concrete wing wall off of 4 will definately lengthen your neck and lighten your wallet.
 
good deal cant wait for the season to start, For anyone racing at mcs we will be promoting the track at the first annual dirt track car show at Radio shack in mexico mo on March 12 starts at 9 am bring your cars it will be a good time if any questions call Mike at 573 582 9957 or 573 582 0653
