WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (Feb. 24) – J & J Steel makes perfect attendance pay off again this season for drivers following the Deery Brothers Summer Series.

All drivers who compete at the first 15 IMCA Late Model tour events of 2010 will be entered in the $750 to win, minimum $200 to start J & J Steel Ironman Challenge on opening night of the Sept. 17-18 Pepsi USA Nationals at 34 Raceway.

The West Burlington, Iowa, chassis, race car parts and accessories retailer will also give a $100 prod¬uct certificate to the hard charger at each tour event.

Drivers are required to display two J & J Steel decals on their race car to be eli¬gible for Ironman contingency awards. Those certificates will be mailed within a week of each event.

"We have never had fewer than 10 drivers achieve Ironman status in the history of this program with J & J Steel and that is quite a feat in a season like last year with a near record number of races,” said Kevin Yoder, marketing and tour director for IMCA. “Fewer races and a more manageable schedule in 2010 should increase the number of drivers seeking perfect attendance and early indications are that we may have the deepest J & J Steel Ironman field in recent memory."

Sixteen events are on the 2010 Deery schedule, including a first ever visit to Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway on April 18.

34 Raceway at West Burlington hosts the $3,000 to win Slocum 50 series opener on April 10, as well as the $10,000 to win Pepsi USA Nationals finale.
Quincy, Ill., Raceway and Boone Speedway are also sites of two series events. Late Models travel to Quincy on April 11 and return to town for the $3,000 to win Titan Wheel & Tire Shootout on June 13.

The tour headlines a pair of holiday events at Boone, on Memorial Day May 31 and on Labor Day Sept. 6, for open¬ing night of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.

In addition to Dubuque, the tour also makes single stops at Davenport Speedway on April 16, Jackson County Speed¬way in Maquoketa on April 17, Marshalltown Speedway on May 18, Independence Motor Speedway on June 30, Knoxville Raceway on July 8, Southern Iowa Speedway at Oskaloosa on July 21, Farley Speedway on Aug. 3, the Iowa State Fairgrounds Speedway in Des Moines on Aug. 16 and Lee County Speedway in Donnellson on Sept. 4.
All main events except the Slocum 50, the Titan Shootout and the Pepsi USA Nationals pay $2,000 to win and a minimum of $250 to start.
