Wild Man Kelly Classic Makeup Info
After consulting with DIRTcar, the make-up date for the Wild Man Kelly Classic will be Sunday August 12. This should give us the best opportunity to get the field of cars that was here Wednesday. On Friday of that weekend there's a big late model race at Tri City and on Saturday at Fairbury so cars will be back in the area.
We will complete the Consi races and have features as well as run a complete show for our Street Stocks and will add one other class to make a complete night of it. Purses will remain the same - $5,000 to win for Late Models, $1,000 for Modifieds and $500 for Street Stocks.
Of course all armbands from Wednesday will be honored. No new late models or modifieds can enter but it is open to any new street stocks and whatever other class we add soon.
Unfortunately this will not count toward Summer Nationals points as the series will have been completed. The only available date during the Summer Nationals was not an option as serious fair preparation including trenching for new electrical service through the racetrack will be happening
