(PINCONNING, MICHIGAN) Jeep Van Wormer and his #55 team celebrated in victory lane for the second straight weekend on October 7-8! After Berlin Raceway was washed out early on Saturday, the team's transporter trekked to the hallowed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio for the annual running of the 'DIRTcar Fall Nationals.' Jeep clicked off the fifteenth quickest time overall during the American Late Model Series (ALMS) qualifying session on Saturday evening prior to picking up the win in heat race action.

When the 40-lap headliner went green, Jeep led the talented field to the start of the race from the pole position. The Pinconning, Michigan ace was then in control of the pack when rain halted the 'DIRTcar Fall Nationals' after only sixteen circuits were completed. On Sunday afternoon when the contest was restarted, Jeep fended off all challenges to score the $5,000 winner's check ahead of Bobby Pierce, Kent Robinson, Jon Henry, and Jacob Hawkins! The 'DIRTcar Fall Nationals' triumph marked Jeep's 35th career ALMS victory, which is just one behind all-time leader Kris Patterson! Complete results from the "Big E" can be accessed online at www.eldoraspeedway.com.

"It felt awful good to get back into victory lane again at Eldora," exclaimed Van Wormer earlier this week. "It had been awhile since I had been on that victory stage, so that made the win just a little bit sweeter. Who knows what would have happened if we would have gotten the whole race in on Saturday because we were on softer rubber than some of those other guys. But my crew gave me a great car when we came back on Sunday and we were able to get the job done. I can't thank my family, crew, sponsors, fans, and everyone that has supported Iron Motorsports enough and hopefully we can shoot for our third straight win this coming Saturday at Berlin!"

Weather pending, the Iron Motorsports team will look to invade the dirt-covered Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan this Saturday night, October 14 for the American Ethanol Late Model Tour season finale. The Championship event will be a single-day shootout with a $10,000 top prize. Jeep will be looking for his third straight victory in as many weekends when he takes to the sprawling 7/16-mile speedplant on Saturday.
