Jeff Floyd Resumes Pursuit of MSRA Title at Malden

Walnut Ridge, Arkansas (8/04/09) – Jeff Floyd will resume his 25th Anniversary Season and his pursuit of the 2009 O’Reilly MSRA Championship this Friday at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri in his #F1 Floyd Motorsports/GRT/Kuntz & Company Super Late Model.

Last weekend Jeff competed in his second Open Wheel Modified event of the 2009 season as he entered the Show Me Modified Championship in the #F1 Open Wheel Modified at West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains , Missouri . After losing a motor during Saturday afternoon's qualifier session, the team changed motors for Saturday night. Floyd would qualify for the Championship feature in the 18th starting position and would advance to a 13th place finish by the time that the checkered flag dropped on the event.

This Friday, August 7th, JFR Motorsports will return to action with the O’Reilly MSRA Super Late Model tour at Malden Speedway in Malden , Missouri . Jeff is currently third in the O’Reilly MSRA Super late Model standings, just 72 points out of the lead, heading into this weekend’s event. Friday’s event will be highlighted by a $2,000 to win/$300 to start, 30 lap event.
