Plans are being finilazed for The Jeff Mills Memorial race to be held on Sunday May 25th. All Top eliminators that night in all 10 classes will receive special 8x10 plaques in Millsey's honor. The plaques are being designed by Cody Tees and were sponsored by DMR Performance Center of Bonne Terre and Burch Fence of Farmington.
There will be give aways from stl racing and also John "Trashdog" Barr from stl racing.com will be there taking some photos for the site. Also during down time of racing we will let anyone who either wants to get on the mircophone, or wants to write out a story about Jeff, or anything he has done to help you out. You will have your time to either personaly tell your story about him, or let the track announcer read it for you.
Jeff done ALOT for all area racing including BRSD, lets make this a fun night in his honor. Racing will start at 6pm sharp! If you haven't made it out to Big River yet in 2008 i urge you to come out for this night, The track is under new ownership and the future looks very promising. The bigger cars are coming back and there have already been numberous improvemnts made to the track and facility.
