BROWNSTOWN, IN (September 25. 2010) – Jeremy Hines of Seymour, IN came from the 10th starting position to win the 25-lap UMP Super Stock feature on Saturday Night at Brownstown Speedway. Hines driving the Rick Hines-owned Stuckwisch Appliances, Royal Heating and Cooling, Gumm Chassis, George’s of Seymour, Bedford Transport and F.O.E. Aerie 655 of Seymour sponsored #15 took the win over 2010 track champion, Tim Clark of North Vernon, IN, Jason Hehman of Brownstown, IN, Try Clark of North Vernon, IN and Brownstown’s Jay Deckard.

Tim Clark took the lead from his outside front row starting spot as he would lead the first lap, but by lap Hehman, who started on the pole took over the lead of the race. Hehman, Tim Clark and Mike Cawood would run one-two-three for the first nine laps of the race as an excellent battle for the lead was taking place.

Cawood would be involved in an accident on lap ten which ended his night. Hines who had made his way through the field from his outside fifth row starting spot moved into the fourth spot when Cawood departed the event. On the restart Hehman continued to show the way with extreme pressure from Tim Clark, Troy Clark, Hines, and Gary Rahe, Jr.

The race for lead got even hotter as Hines passed both Clarks on lap 12 to take over second. Hines then pursued the leader, Hehman as the two would dice it out side-by-side for the race lead. Tim Clark then made it a three-way tussle for the top spot as he reclaimed second place on the 19th circuit. The trio raced door-to-door until Hines went from his third position to the lead on lap 21.

Tim Clark then dropped Hehman to third in a wild last five laps as the 33-year-old Hines would go on to take his second UMP Super Stock main of the year at Brownstown. Tim Clark with his second place finish clinched the 2010 Brownstown Speedway UMP Super Stock Crown. Hehman claimed third while Troy Clark finished fourth. The night before at Bloomington ((IN) Speedway, Troy Clark wrapped up the 2010 UMP Super Stock title at that facility. Former track champion, Jay Deckard rounded out the top five on Saturday at Brownstown.
