Madison, IL – Gateway International Raceway announces the Jerry Haas Factory Hot Rod Showdown will be coming to the track on Wednesday June 6 with gates opening at 5 p.m. Many teams will be stopping at Gateway as they travel from the national event in Topeka and head to the national event in Chicago . This is your opportunity to watch the National Hot Rod Association and International Hot Rod Association’s professional racers in the following classes: NHRA & IHRA Pro Stock, Pro Mod, Pro Stock Bike, and Doc’s Harley Davidson Quick Street Bike. Qualifying begins at 7 p.m. and the quickest two in each class will run each other at 8:30 p.m. Don’t miss out on the chance to see today’s racing stars!!

The Jerry Haas Factory Hot Rod Showdown will be run in conjunction with Gateway’s Wednesday Night Slick Tire Test and Tune program. Spectator tickets are $10 with children 12 and under getting in for free with a paid adult. Slick Tire Test and Tuning is $20 to race.
“The Slick Tire Test and Tune program by itself is something worth coming out to see. But add the Doc’s Harley Davidson Quick Street Bike and the Jerry Haas Factory Hot Rod Showdown, and it’s a must see,” said Dukes.
