(Elk Mound, WI) Superstar dirt late model driver Jimmy Mars of Elk Mound, WI will take part in the upcoming “Early Thaw Series 2003” at the Central Arizona Raceway in Coolidge, AZ on January 25-26. Jimmy will be competing in fellow Badger Steve Isenberg’s #9I MasterSbilt. Steve, who hails out of Marshfield, WI, will be competing in all the other events the week before at Central Arizona Raceway and Manzanita Speedway. The January 25-26 event that Jimmy will be competing in pays $10,000 to the winner. The #9I MasterSbilt is a MasterSbilt from Mars, which means that is a MasterSbilt chassis, tweaked and put together by Jimmy and his racing team.
Jimmy will use the Arizona race as a tune-up for the 2003 Winternationals at East Bay Raceway in Gibsonton, FL, which is February 3-8. Jimmy will be competing in is own #28 Jimmy Mars Racing MasterSbilt Monte Carlo. He will once again be shooting for the Xtreme DirtCar Series National Championship, as he finished fourth in last years title hunt and in the Top Ten all three years he has run the series.
