Mother Nature rained out the opener of the U.S. Race Gear Cincinnati Modified Championship presented by Gabbard's Mt. Orab Ford Friday Night at Moler Raceway park. Even she could not stop Joey Kramer from claiming the opener at Florence Speedway on Saturday Night. Kramer would use a front row starting spot to grab the early lead and never look back. If he did look back he would of seen Jeff Babcock carving his way through the field from a 21st starting spot to finish 2nd. Kramer had his new Lightning Chassis hooked up on the very fast Florence Speedway surface. The win would be the 9th win in the CMC for Kramer and would be the 18th CMC win for Lightning Chassis. The next CMC action is scheduled for Moler Raceway Park March 23rd with a $1000 to win show.
