Wish it would open back up. Mike HALLOWEEN KID Meyer will be driving a new modified next year. Got a ride from a man out of Conway, Ark. Real nice ride. Best of everything. Traded the mini for a 1999 Monte Carlo asphalt car. The mini will be running at MCS next year. Happy Holidays From The Meyer Family

to whom ever is thinking or in the process of opening the track. I wish them all the luck in the world with it. Right now is a difficult time to try to get anything up and running.Race tracks right now are having low car and fan counts.I do work at doe run track and I love the racing action.every one has their favorite track.Thier favorite drivers,its what makes it exciting.My daughter races a kart at doe run.And it does irratate me when comments are made.such as what you made milsey.Karts and multis are a part of doe run and you wouldn't believe the number of people to show to watch only them.Im sure you didn't mean it the way some of us took it. But it just goes to show everyone has a different opinion. I personally didn't like the rock the few times I was there. But I know several people who do. I wont say I will never go back. Because things change from time to time. never know next time I would attend I might love it.I know you and bobby have had your differences in the past. But oh well that is then this in now. Don't get on the boards and down grade his track or his racers.To me that is like a kid saying my dog is bigger than your dog.I think it would be nice to have another track in the area open.Give the drivers a choice isn't that what a race track is all about the DRIVERS. I wish the track, supporters,sponsors,drivers,and fans the best of luck.

I said absolutely NOTHING negative about Doe Run. If you want to watch go-karts then go to Doe Run, there's nothing wrong with that. But when it comes to attracting a crowd you're going to get a whole lot more people that want to watch bigger cars than the smaller ones. That's not a difference of opinion, that's a simple fact. And I don't know if you've noticed it, but Bob and I haven't had one cross word to each other. There's just a few people who want to keep dragging something like that on. Am I going to promote Doe Run? No I'm not. But I don't publicly cut it down either. If that offends somebody then so be it, but I don't think you're going to see Bob with a Fredericktown Raceway shirt on either. And that's not a cutdown of Bob!fireboy said:

Lance, sometimes you amaze me even more than before. I don't cover Doe Run because they don't advertise with me. Not that I owe you or anyone an answer because I've stated this numerous times before, but the Doe Run Raceway does not advertise with my newspaper. Since it is a FREE paper, publishing it relies totally on advertising from the participating tracks. I've asked every year if Doe Run wants to participate and they decline. I don't require they advertise all the time, just some every now and then. Getting the results is no problem and Kirby has always been good enough to get me photographs when needed. The offer is once again extended this year.
Here's an idea for you Lance. Why don't you start your own Doe Run newspaper! After all it's so easy and so inexpensive. The people who publish they paper won't do it for nothing and they want their money first.

Hey Millsey, we need a crybaby forum for people like PBS has. That way no one has to see it on a good message board. We had a good one for the Rams, and some screwed it up. All people were doing was enjoing talking about The Rock and maybe being able to race there again. You have never cut down Doe Run as long as I've known U. And I'm proud to say you have help Mike's career more than I can say. Keep up the good work and let's see if you can get a cry baby section for those who need it. THANKS MILLSEY. I didn't mean to step on your toes. But once again some of us just read into things wrong.To The ROCK reopening I still wish them the best of luck. It will take a lot of GOOD people working many long hard hours to get it fixed up and the track worked over.But as we all know the racing community is a STRONG enough family to get it done.GOOD LUCK, BEST WISHES. Hope to see flyers and hear radio and other advertising soon on the reopening.Also might be getting in touch with you on starting a paper sounds like a nice Idea to get the kids excited and make them feel special. Hope You can give me some pointers
