Wheatland, MO (May 24th, 2010) - With bright sunshine throughout the day at Lucas Oil Speedway, Walnut Grove, Missouri's Jeremy Kelley scored his first TNT Quick Shop Late Model Win of the season this past Saturday, May 22nd, while Galena, Missouri's Jesse Stovall brought out a brand new car to score yet another win in the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds. Burl Woods took home the win and the extra money put up by ALPS Grocery Stores in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks.

Jeremy Kelley started from the pole and survived several late race caution flags to take the win in the TNT Quick Shop Late Models as his long time racing father Jeremy Kelley nervously watched. Kelley appeared to have the race in hand last weekend only to see a mechanical gremlin steal the win late in the race. He was not to be denied this week however holding off Browning, Missouri's Tommy Cordray. "Was that not the longest 20 laps?" joked Kelley as he exited his race car in Victory Lane. 2-Time Track Champion, Rylan Long from Greenfield, Missouri finished in the third spot with Springfield's Ben Solberg fourth at the finish. J.D. Kelley rounded out the top-5 after starting in the 8th spot.

Galena, Missouri's debuted a brand new Hoffman Race Car but he was not to be denied this weekend in the Pitt's Homes A-Modified as he scored his fourth win in four tries this season at Lucas Oil Speedway. Stovall was racing with a heavy heart as were many this weekend due to the unfortunate loss of racer and long time friend Damon Tillman as Damon lost his heroic battle with cancer earlier in the weekend. "I really wanted to win this one for Damon" an emotional Stovall said from Victory Lane. Thirty -Three Modifieds showed up as Stovall now has a target on his back as the regions top drivers look to try to stop his onslaught on the area racing scene. 2009 Track Champion Steve Martin gave it a valiant try but had to settle for the runner-up spot. David Hendrix had another Top-3 Run with Hermitage, Missouri's Eric Turner finishing in fourth after starting on the front row. Archie, Missouri's Tim Setzer came home in fifth.

With the extra money on the line put up by ALPS Grocery Stores in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks, an outstanding field of the region's best Factory Stocks showed up to challenge the regulars but it was veteran Burl Woods holding court in his brand new Allen Chassis and picking up the $600 win as ALPS added $300 this weekend to the winner. Woods started outside the front row and held off the repeated challenges from pole sitter Troy Reasoner Jr. as the Reasoner held on for second and also scored an extra $100 courtesy of ALPS Grocery Stores. Defending Track Champion Kenny Carroll raced his way to a third place finish with Wheatland's own Randy Gilmore taking home fourth with an outstanding run. Ted Welschmeyer worked his way from his tenth starting spot to capture the final Top-5 spot at the finish.
