THANK YOU guys for jumping in the vintage cars and making laps around Doe Run Friday nite. This brought back lots of GREAT memories from when I was a very young man. You guys are and always will be ICONS to this sport of dirt track racing. Again THANK YOU for the memories !!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great site to see these two gentlemen in these cars. If it was not for Sid Bloom I probably would not be involded in racing today. At the age of 17 he helped build or should I say built my first so call race car at his house in Coffman. This was in 1970 and with the help of the Buckley family (Kevin. Keith and Kary) and Mr Buckley I did manage to try to race a few times in the opening year at the Empire Speeday (AKA SFRR) I don't remember Mr Buckley racing but Sid raced in he early 1970 winning a track championship in 1971. Boy am I getting old.
Keith. Kevin, Kary and Klay have spent countless hours building 4 vintage cars decated to the older generation of racer....How neat is that.

What an honor it was to have all these gentlemen at DRR ! The many years of racing between this unbelieveable. The Gateway Vintage Cars are a class act and we are so exited to have then at the track. It seemed like a Buckly Reunion : ) It was wonderful to have this Family there Friday Night ! Thanks to all who made it possible.
