DIRT NATION presented by Switchme.net is hosted each week by the Rat Pack, featuring Dave Seay, Brian Tidball and Doc Lehman and airs every Monday evening from 8:00 – 10:00 PM EST and can be accessed over the internet at: www.racetalklive.com
Special guest Monday night will be Ken Schrader, a NASCAR Nextel Cup star is also a co-owner of I-55 Raceway in Missouri as well as a frequent dirt Late Model competitor. Schrader will discuss the upcoming UMP SUMMERNATIONALS, I-55 Raceway and his dirt racing program. Bob Sargent is the COO of UMP and Track Enterprises. Sargent is a well-known industry leader and successful promoter. UMP was formed in 1983 by Bob Memmer, who remains active with the organization. Ken Schrader is also a partner in the ownership of the organization.
The U.M.P. SUMMER NATIONALS Series brings together many of the nations top Super Late Model drivers to compete head-to-head in a grueling four week schedule that visits 26 tracks throughout the Midwest in 27 days. U.M.P. also sanctions premier events such as The Dream & The World 100 at Eldora Speedway and the U.M.P. Winter Nationals during Daytona Speed Week at Volusia Speedway Park.
The 2004 edition of the UMP SUMMER NATIONALS will kick off on Monday June 21 at Godfrey Speedway in Godfrey, IL and end Saturday July 17 at Oakshade Speedway in Oakshade, OH.
In addition, a guest UMP driver to be announced will appear and a special surprise guest may also make an appearance. In addition to the special guests, news and results, other surprises will be in store for listeners on Monday evening.
