Chattanooga/Ringgold (8/25/09) -- The KiNG of CRATE Challenge mini-series returns again to the BOYD's SPEEDWAY, this Friday night for the 3rd installment of the $2,000 to-WIN, Double Points events. The Crate Late Model's have outstanding this season, week in and week out and opening up for the Regional Touring teams to come in and take on the local WOLF-PACK is a big bonus to the racefans. James Gamble, Jerry Coffman and Craig Burrows have been the divisions main-stays so far this season, but recently Hall of Famer and local Chattanooga resident Ronnie Johnson and Villanow Georgia's Jeff Smith have become hot within the division. This Friday will see single lap qualifying take order and shape out two (2) Dashes and (dependent upon car count) two (2) "B" Mains, that will determine the 24-car starting field. Forty (40) laps will see the winner take the ROYALE SUMMER SLAMMER title inside JODY MILLARD PEST CONTROL Victory Lane, along with the spoils.
