Seniors – Free Admission for KIX Race Night at CMS

(Warrensburg) Another weekend of hot racing action is planned at Central Missouri Speedway when the Mighty Modifieds and B-Modifieds compete for extra Contingency Connection bonus awards during their June 24th feature races on KIX Radio Race Night. ALL Senior Citizens age 60 and older with valid I.D. will be admitted to the grandstand areas for FREE! All City of Sedalia residents will also with proper ID, receive a $2 admission ticket discount for the races.
Joe Bradshaw, the hot driver from Sedalia is leading the 2006 Mighty Modified division points’ race with a feature win and other early season top finishes. Bradshaw along with a host of other top drivers will be battling it out for the bonus Contingency Connection awards this weekend as they prepare for the July 1st Tom Wilson Modified Special.
Meanwhile, the newly added B-Modified division, with Tony Nelson of Blue Springs leading the way will include bonus Contingency Connection awards distributed to several drivers including the B-Modified feature winner. This new division is a great opportunity for drivers preferring to race modifieds at a reasonable cost and as a training ground to move up into the Mighty Modified class.
Then the next “Big Race Special”, is on Saturday, July 1st, the third annual Tom Wilson Memorial BBQ Bowl $3,000 to win ‘Mighty Modified’ 40-lap feature event with a Fireworks Spectacular! Drivers must have raced at least twice at CMS to avoid paying an entry fee for the modified special. Details for the race will be listed at the track web site.
You’ll want to be there this Saturday night when the gates open at 5 pm with hot-laps at 7 and racing at 7:30.
