KMMO Radio and Kid's Night Reset for Saturday, August 22nd at Central Missouri Speedway!

(Warrensburg, MO) The annual kid's night at the races events for Warrensburg's own Central Missouri Speedway have been reset for this Saturday, August 22nd. KMMO Radio personalities will be on hand with remote broadcasts as they sponsor the evening's races. In addition, film crews from the Discovery Channel will also be present filming modified drivers for an upcoming TV special featuring several local drivers.

All children twelve years and under will receive a free hot dog and drink courtesy of track promoters Earl and Susan Walls. The kids may also participate in foot races in five different age groups for boys and girls on the speedway during the intermission-time break. Every child 12 and under attending Saturday night's races will go home with a goodie bag stuffed full of various school supplies, race-related items, candy, and small toys, all donated by various drivers and fans at the speedway.

Fan appreciation night at the speedway has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 29th in order to hold this week's special kid's night activities. For August 29th, all adult grandstands general admission is just $8. Advanced entry and pre-ticket sales have begun for the final special event of the year, taking place on Friday, September 4th and Saturday, September 5th. ULMA Late Model drivers save $25 for pre-registering, modified drivers can save $50 for pre-registering. September 4 ULMA Late Models will race for $1,500 to win in a ULMA points-earning event, plus ‘Mighty’ Modifieds will qualify for Saturday starting positions.
September 5 CMS – ‘Mighty’ Modifieds $3,000 to win special event. Also running CMS B-Modifieds and CMS Street Stocks

Season Championship Race Night – Last race of the season in all divisions

Pit gates open at 4:30, admission gates swing open at 5, the drivers' meeting starts at 6:30, hot laps begin at 7, and racing gets underway at 7:30. General admission for adults is $10, Seniors 65 and up, Military and College Students w/I.D. pay just $8, kids ages 6 to 12 are admitted for $6 and children 5 and under are free. Race fans permanently confined to wheelchairs get in absolutely free at CMS each week! The track is located 3.5-miles north of Warrensburg, MO from the junction of Highways 50 and 13 in Warrensburg or from the Higginsville exit off of I-70, travel south on Highway 13 for approximately 14 miles.
