Junction City, KY-August 10, 2007- The NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series sanctioned the 3rd Annual Railroad Days Showdown at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday evening and Joey Kramer of Hanover, IN would claim his third straight win by claiming the $1,500 payday. In other action, Donald Rayborn of Middleburg, KY scored his first-ever Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model feature victory, while P.J. Feistritzer of Danville, KY won the Kentucky National Guard Crate Late Model feature, Rick King of Junction City, KY won the SkyTower Power Race Engines Sportsman feature, and Randy Maybrier won the Clayton Homes Chevette feature.

The start of the NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series A-Main would see Don Adams, Victor Lee, and Joey Kramer go three wide for the lead in turn one, with Adams coming away with the lead, while Lee, Kelly Warren, Kramer, and Shon Flanery giving chase. Kramer would get Warren for third on lap 2, as Dennis Roberson would draw the caution one trip later on lap 3 when he spun in turn one. The restart would see Adams, Lee, and Kramer again go three wide for the lead in turn one, with Adams again coming out on top. Flanery would scoot by Warren for fourth on lap 4, while Kramer pressured Lee for second. Kramer would dive beneath Lee in turn three on lap 7 and pass him and slidejob Adams to grab the top spot. Caution would fly on lap 8 when Walt Mayabb looped his mount in turn two. The restart would see Benji Lee go from sixth to fourth, while Warren, Flanery, and Brandon Green battled for fifth. Flanery take the spot on lap 9, while Adams and Lee battled for second. A tangle between Kevin Mayabb and Robert Potter drew the caution lap 12. The restart would see Flanery take second from Adams, with Travis Preston drawing the caution one lap later after stopping at the bottom of turn four. The restart would only go one more lap of green flag racing as Don Adams would slow after making contact with the backchute wall exiting turn two, resulting in a right front flat tire and suspension damage. Bad luck would then strike second place Flanery two laps after the restart when he would pull his mount to the infield with electrical problems. The final caution flew on lap 17 when the duo of Kevin Mayabb and Potter again tangled, only this time in turn four. Back underway, Kramer would pull away as Benji Lee, Victor Lee, Brandon Green, and 22nd starting Miguel Coffey pursued the race leader. With Kramer about to enter slower traffic, Coffey would pass Green for fourth and set his sights on third place Victor Lee. As Kramer took the white flag and he began the final lap, second place Benji Lee would spin his unit down to the inside of turn four, but the race would finish and Kramer would take the win in the Dennis Kramer owned, Hill's Historic Painting/PBM Performance Products/Fall Creek Financial/All Star Performance/Bright Beginnings Day Care #77 Lightning Chassis, Bullock by Kramer Race Engine powered entry. Twenty-second starting Coffey would finish second, with Victor Lee third, while Green and Timmy York completed the top five. The remainder of the top ten would be Randy Turpin, Warren, John Harrell, Russ Gabbert, and Dennis Roberson. Twenty-three entries saw fast time go to Kramer, while heat race wins went to Kramer, Adams, and Victor Lee.

Dustin Neat would grab the lead at the start of the 25 lap Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model feature, while Donald Rayborn, Aaron Hatton, Larry Gray, Jr., and Tim Tungate followed. Rayborn would take the lead from Neat on lap 3, while Tungate would go from fifth to third on the same circuit. With Rayborn beginning to stretch his lead a bit, Gray, Jr. would fourth from Hatton on lap 6. At this point, the battle for second heated up as Neat and Tungate would race side by side for the next two circuits, before Tungate took second on lap 9, while Bobby Carrier, Jr. would sneak past Hatton for fifth. As race leader Rayborn began working lapped traffic, Hatton would drive back around Carrier, Jr. for fifth, as this pair battled for that fourth position for the next eight laps, before Carrier, Jr. would retake the five slot on lap 18. Rayborn would continue to be steady at the point and drive to his first-ever Super Late Model feature win in the Bill Pierce owned, Hometown Auto Parts sponsored #2DR C.J. Rayburn Race Cars, Rayburn Automotive Race Engines powered mount. Tungate and Neat would claim second and third, while Gray, Jr. and Carrier, Jr. completed the top five. Rounding out the top ten were Hatton, Jerry Rutherford, Justin Blackwell, Jake Henry, and Dennis Robertson. Fourteen entries saw Hatton as top qualifier and win the dash, while Carrier, Jr. won the heat.

P.J. Feistritzer would take the lead from Peydon Pelphrey in the early stages of the Kentucky National Guard Crate Late Model feature event and pull away from the field to claim yet another feature race win at "The Pond" for the '07 racing season behind the wheel of the Self-Service Storage/Big Daddy's Auto Sales sponsored #88 C.J. Rayburn Race Cars mount. Paul Feistritzer would take a second place finish to his son, while Gary Yeager, Todd Coffman, and Jeff Rowland completed the top five. Eleven entries saw fast time set by Pelphrey, who also won the dash, while Kevin Hardin won the heat.
